David Baggsis a Registered Professional
Engineer licensed to practice engineering in the State of Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Lamar University. Mr. Baggs was appointed by the Texas Department of Insurance in 1988 as a qualified inspector
for establishing compliance with windstorm code requirements, making him one of the original appointees in the field of windstorm
certification. Mr. Baggs has his International Code Council Building Inspectors license as well as his Energy Code Compliance
license. Mr. Baggs is a member of national and local area home builders associations and active throughout the area in building,
construction, and inspection activities.
David
S. Grissomis a Registered Professional Engineer licensed to practice engineering in the State of Texas. He
received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M and a Masters of Science in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Houston. Mr. Grissom was appointed by the Texas Department of Insurance in 2002 as a qualified
inspector for establishing compliance with windstorm code requirements. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Grissom had approximately
thirty years of engineering experience in the field.
Wesley
Buchhornis an Engineer In Training (EIT) certified by the State of Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science
in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University. Mr. Buchhorn works with clients helping them meet Windstorm
Codes, city building codes, as well as on-site inspections to insure compliance.
Brenda Donaloio is a Registered Professional Engineer licensed to practice
engineering in the State of Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from
Vanderbilt University in 1975. She also holds a Master of Science in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University
which she completed in 1979. In addition she received her Masters in Business Administration from Southern
Illinois University in 1983. She received her Energy Code Training from Texas A& M University and holds a licensing as
a Certified Environmental Professional. In addition, She is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor.
Colleen O’Grady Laine provides the business
strength to the organization. Ms. Laine is the company liaison to all of the local community organizations
such as Rotary, Junior League of Galveston County, Chamber of Commerce, United Way, etc. Ms. Laine is responsible for the
company’s public relations and facilitates the acquisition of new business as well as maintaining customer satisfaction
for our existing clients.
Brian Anderson
is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he received a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing, Bachelor of Science
degree in Hospitality Management, and is a Texas licensed insurance adjuster. Mr. Anderson serves as the company marketing
representative responsible for all marketing operations Mr. Anderson is a company inspector responsible for performing non-engineering
inspections.
Mike Zeller attended
Sam Houston State University. He is an International Code Council Residential Building Inspector. He performs most of our
daily inspections as well as the necessary calculations required for Residential and Commercial Energy.
Audrey
Truhitte worked in the banking industry approximately 35 years. She joined the Hurricane staff in 2005. She
provides support for customers as well as staff. She coordinates appointments, handles customer relations as well as files
paperwork for windstorm. She works closely with each surrounding city.
Clint Schubert is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University where he received
a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Aviation. Mr. Schubert serves as the company financial representative
responsible for all financial operations. He also assists Audrey in the office with daily operations.
